A friend recently asked me to teach him how to analyze financial statements, so we picked a random company that I had never looked at before - and I walked him through my usual process. We thought it would be cool to record the process and share it with others who might be interested to learn from it as well. Keep in mind that this isn’t for the pros, so if you consider yourself a pro you might find it boring.
The company in question is MR DIY (5296.KL) - a retail franchise that had just listed in Oct 2020, and whose business has apparently been growing like a weed. The analysis is split into two parts:
